Can I Rent a Brake Buddy or Other Portable Brake System?

Hi, My installed SMI dinghy brake system will be in the shop for repair or replacement in my Ford Focus. It may not be completed in time for our long planned vacation to the Dakotas. In case it won't be finished by the time I need to leave, is there any place I can rent a portable dinghy braking system (like a Brake Buddy)from? I would appreciate any advice. Thank you.

I've never heard of anyone renting them, but I've never looked into renting one.
Maybe you should consideer renting a tow dolly as Plan B, in the event your system is not ready for your trip?
