Cargo Carrier

Silly question. Iam installing a cargo carrier on the back of my travel trailer, there is a tire carrier there also. Does the carrier needs be in the middle of trailer? I know what is going to be on it no real weight. Need for spacing. Maybe answered own question.

the OP does not mention TT brand
although most have very light weight bumpers
i suggest a hitch receiver get welded to the frame
and the cargo rack mounts to that, NOT the bumper
maybe arrange to raise the tire a little so it clears the rack
or rides on the rack with the other cargo ?

Winnebago says add nothing to my TT's bumper. No real weight is weight. Why not keep the spare as the factory specified?
