Hi all
We have a camper, but instead of open trailer I'm looking for enclosed. We have budget like most folks. I am in abbotsford bc Canada, we have many dealers.
TNT, tailwind, wells cargo, cargomate, carry on,mirage,Haulmark. Some or most of the well known names like wells cargo have trailer in line with some of the lesser known names, but there using almost the same parts and there about a grand more.
I am looking at 7x16 carry on ,fairly nice equipped unit .Anyone with or knows of anyone with one please let me.know

This is old post but just wanted to update. We bought 2006 continental cargo 7x16 enclosed trailer. I am trying to figure out interior light, looks like red, blue, black, and i believe white coming out of the wiring harness going uo into the trailer, but when I pulled off wall switch there was a yellow one there. .?

Yeah I would prefer used in good condition as well. I am surprised how few available and the folks selling them want top dollar. I don't need it right away so I will be patient

My guess. Transportation costs of new units to your area dealers is making up some of that difference in cost. The further the manufacturing facility is to your location the more cost involved. Of course, some of them are better built than others. I'd look for a good used unit that fits your needs, rather than new. IMHO
I'm an expert in only one field....I believe it's somewhere in Kansas.

I don't know what you have for a "camper" (your profile is blank) so it's hard to give relevant info.

I can however say I often tow large trailers behind my 24' Class C, primarily a 8' x 24' highly specialized trailer for hauling airplanes. But often a 6' x 12' single axle enclosed.

The difference in wind resistance and the added drag of a larger tandem over a smaller single is surprising.

Yes, that I don't know. I will be hauling mostly two atv’s, I. Don't believe I will even come close. The 4500 #payload mark.most for sale here have leaf springs, few have torsion axle. I'm old school leaf springs for me

Only a few of them have independent suspension. Whether that is a good thing for you is subjective.
