Anyone have an idea of what RV lots are selling for in places like Quartzsite, Yuma, Bouse, Gila Bend, Ajo, or any other AZ desert area with "excellent" ATV riding? May even consider an annual rent in an established park, IF we can find a good one. Thanks for any info you can give me.

. Desert Gardens RV Park 5 miles south of FLorence AZ.on HWy. 79.Lots in D section or 40x50 in E section 60x70 and the F section 55x60.This is a very nice park I workamp there.520-705-7065 this is the sales office ask for Eric

Nice spot but a few years ago a group took control, ripped up a lot of the cactus and tried to sell lots. All the park models but one moved out.

Roads are gravel(noisy) and dusty. Almost no shopping in Florence ... you have to drive to Coolidge. Check this place out carefully before you invest. Expect high power/pressure salesmen to try to get you to buy.
Have to disagree with u about high pressure sales. The roads are gravel if you like to be in the city this is not the place for you.but the people that do buy do not want to live in the city.I work there and like being away from the city. The owners have done very well selling lots this fall/winter and spring.

Come and see us in Meadview, AZ. We are in the northwest corner of the state about 100 miles southeast of Las Vegas. We are very close to Lake Mead.We have about 200 miles of ATV riding. There are 2 full hookup parks here and many vacant lots for rv's. We have an ATV club here also. www.meadviewridgeriders.ning.com. Pull that up and give the president a call. He can give you a lot of info on the rv lots.
His name is Bill

The actual cost varies by person and their lifestyle, but the major expenses for full-time RVing are the following:

1. RV loan payments
2. RV insurance, including fulltimer liability
3. Fuel, especially when towing or driving the RV
4. Mail forwarding services
5. RV site rent (most full hookup sites cost $10 to $50 per night, $300 to $500 plus electricity when paying monthly)
6. Propane and electricity
7. Storage of items that don't fit in RV
8. RV maintenance

Well, we are here in Wellton and looked at lots in Quartzsite on the way. We bought one in Copper Ridge today and meet with a contractor tomorrow, before heading home. Was very impressed with the rural area and the short drive to Yuma, if we want a city fix now and then. anyone looking for a good price on a very nice and new RV subdivision, this is the place.

Thanks to all who gave us suggestions and the PM's received. We plan on being here just after Christmas this year and getting in lots of winter ATV riding.

You might want to look in Wellton, a small town that is 15 miles from Yuma foothills. They are advertising lots for $37,000. Wellton is growing in popularity because of the fact that Yuma is so darn expensive now.

I would do a search (RV Park Reviews) and check out.

We settled at Casa Grande RV Resort this year after moving around last year in S. AZ.

If you want further South check out De Anaza RV Resort in Amado...about 30 miles N. of Nogales Mexico.

Texan, in the Foothills here in Yuma and by the way the Foothills are in Yuma County, not Yuma City. Looking at Craigslist, The Yuma Sun, The Whitesheets, and private ads all over this area, lots in the middle of the block, so to speak are about $79,000, corner lots are about $99,000. Of course, amenities, casitas, sheds, etc. make those prices vary. Please beware if you do look in the Foothills area, do your research especially if the property is on Far West Sewer aka Sewer Sisters. There is thread on this subject in "Snowbirds". Just do "due diligence" I believe is the term.
Yep, I have multi articles on Far West water & sewer, plus I have had dealings with them previously when we were in Quartzsite. That is why we have given up on the foothills. We have found a place in Wellton, 30 miles east of Yuma called Copper Ridge , that looks goood and the people we have talked to give nothing but awesome reviews. We may take a trip down there later this month to look at it and a couple of other places.
