Eaz-Lift Trekker vs. Equilizer e2

I purchased a new camper and need a good WD hitch with sway control but am undecided which one is going to work best for me. Let me start by providing more information on my TV and TT.

TV is a 2012 GMC Yukon XL Denali, 6.2L with HD tow package, tow capacity #7800.

TT is a 2015 Jayco White Hawk 28DSBH, #5460, tongue weight 635, Length is 31' 11"

I've gone through all the numbers and am comfortable with the TV/TT weight etc. so I'd like to keep the comments specific to the best WD hitch if we could please.

Through my research I've heard a lot about the Equalizer e2 and believe it would be a good option for me. I've also received recommendations for the Eaz-Lift Trekker which from what I hear is similar but is quieter and is more easily disengaged when making slow turns and backing.

I'm looking for feedback on these two hitches and am open to recommendations on what others may be using with a similar setup as mine.

For a 32ft TT, go with an Equal-i-zer 4pt. Your tongue weight will likely grow to 900 to 1000#'s when loaded up.

You're correct, I had it backwards. The EQ is cheaper.

I'd like to know where you're seeing the Blue Ox cheaper than the Equal-i-zer...

I can't find the Blue Ox swaypro for less than $599...

The Equal-i-zer is around $400.

I have the four point Equal-i-zer and really like it. Not sure how much difference there is between that and the two point as far as handling and price. If you're set on the two point, I'd go with the cheaper option too like Dutchmen said.

I have an Equal-i-zer hitch and I watched the video from the Trekker web site. This is the first time I've seen a Trekker. Honestly, they both look to be about the same and the same concept. Looks like they both install about the same. I did notice the Trekker bars start out square and taper down to flat. The Equal-i-zer are square the entire length of the bar. Other than that, I don't see much difference.

I do know I am very pleased with my Equal-i-zer, but honestly cannot make a comparison how the Trekker would handle as I've never used it. So in my opinion, I would suggest purchasing the one that costs the least. Both systems look good to me and are basically the same concept.

I just switched to a 31 Ft. TT from a 24. Upgraded the E2 to a full Equalizer 4pt. The E2 would have worked but the additional sway control is a nice comfort factor.
