We took a detour to Tampa on our way home to NC and are staying at Bay Bayou. A few sites down from us are the remains of a Keystone Hornet TT that burned last Saturday night. Neighboring campers pulled the occupant out but he later died. It is an awful sight. I don't know what caused it. lizzie
Update re: the dog. Campers across the street from the fire said that the dog was kept overnight by other neighbors and was picked up the following day by either the sister or the daughter of the gentleman who died. The initial cause of the fire seems to be in doubt but the right slide was engaged first, then minutes later the entire unit was in flames. lizzie
I used the Search feature but did not find a thread about the fire. Go figure! The TT is still here, cordoned off with yellow tape but there was someone there yesterday starting to clean up. I will ask about the dog.
