First time to fire up water heater on park water and soon discovered wet rugs where water was running from under cabinet ๐
Plastic 1/4 turn PEX valve had failed. No water pressure regulator installed and park pressure was pretty high . Had run water through the hot water tank and faucets with on board pump but not with city water hooked up. Naturally I left my tool box at home so not only had to buy a valve but also side cutters for the PEX clamp,a tubing cutter and a 15/16 inch socket to drain the hot water tank. Everything available at the local Lowes,thank goodness and repairs took about 45 minutes while the better half fixed super ๐ Hot showers where had by all !
