Fridge worked on propane only, now nothing

On the way from CO to NYC, I noticed my fridge wasn't working unless I had it on the propane setting. I have no idea how long it's been that way. On the way back from NYC, it stopped working with propane too.

I'm doing general troubleshooting, but I thought I'd see if anyone has any ideas why based on that info.

Thanks!

I got the Dinosaur board. I plugged everything in and according to the lights on the front of the refrigerator, I have no power. I can't seem to find the model # on the old circuit board to figure out which jumper to use, but I tried all the jumpers. No power on any of them.

ร€t a guess..I`d say the `board`is shot. A small electrical panel with all the expected teeeny tiny widgets and stuff on it. I went looking at it appears that the Norcold 9162 board is assigned 6212 from Dinosaur.

I see one for 209 on eBay. I`d call Dinosaur and get it from them. If you can install, money in your pocket. Otherwise, find a tech to solder it in for you.

It is a norcold 9162 fridge. Tried running it level. Fuses are good. When it is on auto it tries propane, then switched to ac then flashes on ac but doesn't work. If I take it off auto and put it on propane, I hear the propane running but no luck.

Sometimes we ignore the obvious. I sure have. Is your rig level? If so, I would start with checking fuses/circuit breakers and continue electrical tests after that.

Which 3-way fridge is it?

Brand/model.......sure would help as they can be very different. Some simple...some more involved.

I wasn't out of propane, and I was driving a lot so I don't think the battery was dead. It seems to be working on propane now. I'm going to check if it is cold in the morning. It still doesn't work on AC, and it won't even let me select the 3rd option, which is battery.

Thanks.

dead coach battery is good spot to start, ALMOST every frig needs 12v from the battery to work. 12v controls the micro board and the egniter.
