Are there any other Ham radio operators/ RV enthusiasts out there? I imagine there is. If so please reply with your call sign and location. If there is enough of us, maybe wecould get our own forum. Also share some things about your mobile setup. Thanks, Jim W, K3JRW
Ham for, gosh, over 40 years now. Got my novice ticket when I was about 14...when crystal control and morse code were the only way we could get on with that grade license.
Build my own antennas, don't leave home with out at least 2m. designing a nice rugged multiband HF mobile antenna for the eventual RV. Also have a 35' fiberglass collapsible mast that fits everything I build nicely.
Misc HF, VHF and UHF radios and all antennas are home-brew.
I've been full-time for Since 1999.
Currently camping at Chain o' Lakes SP (IL).
