Head Banger Cabinet--Help

So I have an open plan toyhauler, but on one side is a row of cabinets.

at that perfect head level! Omgosh hubby and I have whacked and it hurts!

What I need is a cushion along that lower edge and corner to save us and an ER trip ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Kinda like when people put a swim noodle on their slide outs to keep from killing themselves, but I need this inside, on a row of cabinets that looks SO MUCH more nicer than a neon colored swim noodle ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

something that protects ours noggins but is pleasing to the eye?
I can't seem to think of what to call this to google up solutions on the internet but I KNOW someone here has dealt with the indoor killer cabinet situation and would love any info to help fix this.

thanks for all help ๐Ÿ™‚

There is a ledge above the door in clippers. If you're tall enough, you tend to hit it as you walk out. A friend kept doing that, and I gave him a strip of tassle trim (have it on my door ledge) - he hasn't hit his head again because the tassles remind him that the ledge is RIGHT THERE. You can find a nice tassle trim at any fabric store that will go with your decor.

How about googling "childproofing solution"?
Somewhere out there there is prolly a clear strip since I'm guessing the cabinets highlight a wood pattern.

hmm, clear strip but 'soft' cause we ARE gonna hit this thing again! We load so much into the hauler and the D rings are kinda under that cabinet row. Just one of those nasty situations where I have to tell hubby over and over....WATCH your head ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

but I was in alone and just got nailed -lol

now that I know what I am looking for at the store I will check out my options! Thank you so much!

YES! and thank you.

I knew there was something out there but couldn't quite put my finger on what is needed.

I just went out a bit ago to vacuum the hauler from all the sand on the last trip before we leave Friday....and I just got a tough whack with the sharp a** corner of that cabinet row.

So I rushed in and typed this cause I knew you all could help.

Thanks Mike-s alot! I will hit Lowes or Home Depot and get before we leave.

I appreciate the help so much!

I had the same issue with a cabinet over the sink where we store the dishes. What I did was move the hinges from the side to the top so the door flipped up. I had a couple of spring pistons that I installed to keep the door up. Problem solved.
