Honda Fit

I'm pretty well focused in on replacing my present dinghy with a Honda Fit, 2015-2018. Yes, I know it has to be a manual trans. Like to hear from those of you who have one. It will be our only vehicle besides the 30 ft. Class C. Any issues with the car or towing set-up? Do you have supplementary braking and if so which one? Thanks.

I had an 07 Fit and thought it was quite roomy for a compact car. My BIl has one as well he is 6'5" 240 lbs and has no problem fitting in it. It does sit low to the ground though. Always felt like I was riding a skateboard on the freeway. Family nicknamed it the clown car. It was typical honda noisy got great mileage 37-42 mpg depending on how much highway I was driving. No idea how it compares to the newer generations.

We have an 09. I think it’s roomy for its size. You can put a bike in the back seat.

A little low to the ground for a big guy. Our 09 auto is flat towable.

Odd...we've had our 2011 Fit since then. I'm 6'3" and 300 pounds. I LOVE driving it! It's the biggest little car I've been in and we plan to keep it until it falls apart (which I hope is at least another 10 years). Can you tell we love ours?

For drives over an hour, I do chose to take the truck. But anything running around town...

Not to be snarky but, my wife and I visited a Honda dealer and I sat in one, I'm 6'1" and I had a heck of a time getting in and a harder time getting out. I thought my Ford Focus hatch was bad, it's like a limo compared to the Fit. Fitting name actually, fits like a tight sock for me...

The are cute but interior room for me, no way.

True - and I would think that I was 16 again as all the cars had stick when I learned to drive

We had a Fit - I like my Jeep much better as a tow car

Note the towing speed is limited to 65 MPH, not a problem for most
