Hot in the NW!

Wow, I just returned from Alaska & BC yesterday and am staying here in Kettle Falls, WA, where it is a sweltering 104 degrees! Had planned to stay at Canyon Creek NFS campground--even selected a campsite there and backed into it---but the heat, even in the shade and with the fan on full blast, was just too much. I had to resort to an RV park with electricity so I could use the A/C. Kind of a shock to my system. ๐Ÿ˜„

Shock to us too. we have been here going on 30 years and this is the hottest and driest summer I can remember. The bedroom ac is on as we speak and we are in the sound area. We usually have to run the ac less than ten time a summer, not this year. Around 90 today here, can't take it. Don't know how I survived the mid west growing up where it would hit 100 with 90 percent humidity or so. It would kill me now.

I think Washington state just set a record for number of days above 90ยฐ and average daily temp. It's warm.
