How to remove Pro Flex caulk to renew

Is there a product for removing old caulk?
The old product hardened and cracked after just one year.
Never had this problem with Dicor or silicone products, but would
like to hear what your favorite product is.
This is the lower trim caulk on the side of a truck camper.

3M caulk remover You may wish to test in an inconspicuous spot to verify that the remover does not effect any paint finish. I never had that problem but your rig may be different.
