Is this normal tire wear?

I bought my 2015 Viewfinder Signature 32rlss in January 2015 new. I have towed it for approximately 3,000 miles at the most during this year. Trailer is just slightly nose down when towing by about 1 inch. Loaded under maximum weight rating per CAT scale.

I run them at maximum tire pressure per sidewall and check them before each trip.

I noticed this wear after my last trip. Dealer said it looks normal but I wanted another opinion.

I do have to turn it a lot when backing it into its home spot. That is about to change this weekend when I place her in her new parking spot in my back yard. Then it will be a much straighter shot each time I park her.

We have done about 8 trips so far. The tires are the ones that came stock, Vail Sport ST radials. Was hoping they would make it to 2 years.

Not near it now, but date code was good. There had been a recall on some of these tires so I checked them a month back before our trip to stone mountain.

I don't know what is causing the problem or what it's called.

Get it checked at a tire shop you trust. I would not take the word of the dealer.
There is nothing wrong or improper with getting a second opinion.

I did not notice what kind of tires you have there.

I have never heard of anything like that being normal.

Interesting.

Looks like tire scrubbing to me..........

When you park trailer do you have to do a lot of sideways maneuvering?

Is it time for your medication or mine?

Looks like common scrubbing to me.

I thought zipper was a sidewall or pealing cap issue.

I'm not a tire expert, but it doesn't look normal to me. I would take this pic to a professional tire shop and ask their opinion a) before I tow again, and b) as soon as able for warranty issues if they apply.
Curious-what is the Mfg date on the tires?
