KC Raceway camping - fall Nascar race

Does anyone have experience camping at the Richmond campground at the KC Raceway? We have tickets to the fall Nascar race and are looking for any tips that will make the weekend better.

You may want to look at Cottonwood campground in Bonner Springs only a couple of miles west of the track. Nothing fancy but a place to park. But since the two race weekends per year are their big chance to sell out spaces go fast. Drove past it on the way to the race last October and every bit of open grass in the meadow out front was was packed door to door with every style of rig. Looked like a gathering of the tribes.

I attempted to go the fall before last...they wouldnt allow RV camping for a 1 race ticket holder..they required season tickets. I didnt know of other area campgrounds...and I certainly was not going to buy season tickets to view 1 race
