Lewis and Clark National Historic Park

Has anyone ever volunteered at the Lewis and Clark National Historic Park in Astoria, Oregon. If so, please share your views of volunteering there.

I've been there as a visitor several times and have talked to volunteers there, but have not volunteered myself. The place is nice, the people are nice and Astoria is a fun town full of history & good eats.

We haven't but I would think it would be a terrific experience. The town itself and the whole area is awesome to explore. Would you be doing interpretation duties?

Should be a good experience. The fort itself is kind of shaded as I remember. Astoria is close by, plenty of shopping with Costco and Fred Meyers
