Loose toliet seat

We replaced the plastic toliet seat bolts with metal ones. Problem is they will not stay tight. Going down the road they jiggle loose. Any suggestions?

Try a lock washer between the plastic or rubber washer and the nut.

Use plastic ones.
Yep, actually drove to all of these places---in the last eight years. Missed Rhode Island and New Jersey.
