Missed the news last night and today, largest quake in that area in 25 years:

M6.8 10:18PDT 3/9/2014 last night, 50 Mi W of Eureka, Ca

No damage reported

More info here

Of note though for those on the coasts of OR/WA/CA:

Under Aftershock Warning

STRONG AFTERSHOCKS (Magnitude 5 and larger) -

At this time (18 hours after the mainshock) the probability of a strong and possibly damaging aftershock IN THE NEXT 7 DAYS is approximately 86 PERCENT

EARTHQUAKES LARGER THAN THE MAINSHOCK -

Most likely, the recent mainshock will be the largest in the sequence. However, there is a small chance (APPROXIMATELY 5 TO 10 PERCENT) of an earthquake equal to or larger than this mainshock in the next 7 days.

6.9 is pretty dang respectable! Glad no real damage so far. It must have been pretty deep.
