Due to severe winter weather conditions, diesel is currently unavailable at the following locations. We will continue to post updates regarding store closings as well as reopenings. Be safe on the roads.

Pilot/Flying J carries itbown fuel fromits own terminals to its own stations. Their temporary logistics problemms (mostly tankers not being able move or barges late to terminals) might not indicate a more general distribution and supply problem.

Demand is also down, when trucks carrying fuel can't move, neither can trucks using the fuel. Bigger problem is NYC, Boston, DC not getting veggies and meat from California and Midwest.

Probably delivery logistics. A lot things were shut down for several days so you have less usage. Bad roads, refinery's could have equiptment problems due to extremely cold temps all sorts of things would contribute to deliverys not being made in a timely manner.

Thought you were going to say the prices were going up as a result! This situation is more understandable, although potentially inconvenient.
