Power cord

Is there any problem leaving the power cord on my TT plugged in when when not in use.

^ Why do you say that?
I recently got a charge wiz for my PD converter and the specs look like it floats at the right voltage and maintains properly.
FWIW, PD claims it's safe and the specs don't say otherwise.

I disconnect and charge the batteries about 3 days per month. Keeping the cord connected exposes the RV to lightening and any power line issues.

Is it not easier to just disconnect the battery when connected to shore power for an extended time? Ever 2-3 reconnect for a couple of days for a charge. Less trouble than having to check for water in my case.

Always check battery water. I've found in my case monthly is sufficient. Depends on how strong your charger maintains your batteries. Keep an eye on the water for 6 months or so and you will learn how often you need to check on them.

my TT is always plugged into shore power, when parked at home.
just check battery water level once a month.

I do and a good charger will go down to a trickle and not boil the water out.
Even so, I have AGM's and maintenance free for the chassis, so pretty good, either way...

nope, other than possibly boiling your batteries. if you have a standard battery charger with no float or maintenance stage you could damage your batteries. if you have a 'smart' or 3-stage charger you should be ok. google the make and model of your charger.

Check the water level in the battery frequently. Some say monthly, I usually did it every two weeks.
