Recommend a cargo net for overhead bunk?

I looked at trunk nets and tailgate nets on Amazon, but didn't see anything that really looked suitable. I'd prefer small mesh, and the space is about 60" x 24".

What do you use?

We have a couple of These Good for all kinds of storage uses. Got them hanging in the washer/dryer closet. Great for storage of chips or other lightweight/fragile items.

Cargo net
Naio - I bought some of these, to stuff jackets, hats, etc into

I've also read on van conversion forums, where people thread a couple of rows of shock cord across overhead shelves, etc to help hold things in.

Me too.

That is NOT a good place to keep anything of more than trivial weight, no matter what kind of net or screen you use to hold it in place.

In the event of a panic stop or a crash, the "stuff" can go flying........right through the net. And flying "stuff" can sometimes be more deadly than the crash itself.

Oh, I see I need to clarify!

I am looking to keep storage stuff in the bunk in case of a crash, sudden stop, etc. Not keep sleeping humans in or bugs out :).

might i 'suggest' easy breeze or similar hanging mesh screen door , one piece not (2) piece,
we have one for the entrance door, as our BUS style door does not have a screen door

just get some plastic clamp on grommets to use it sideways as cargo net
comes with velcro fasteners for the top and the bottom is weighted to keep it hanging in place, and keep out the bugs when the breeze is blowing, so you might want to trim it
i bought this one at walmart a few years ago

its ONE Piece NOT split in the middle

Check out the nets used for upper bunks of the sleepers on HDTs (Heavy Duty Trucks).

Stop by any HDT dealer's lot - Volvo, Pete, Freightshaker, etc. and take a look.

Intended to keep 2nd driver (full size adult) safe while going down the road.

To contain small children so they could not roll out of an overhead bunk, we used a standard closet pole, attaching mounts for it at each end of bunk wall. We used some sort of fishing net with maybe .5 inch mesh for the curtain part, threading the closet pole through a pocket sewn across top of netting.
