RV Park in Prescott AZ area???

I just spent a couple days driving a rental car around the Prescott AZ area. I plan on driving out here in October to spend next winter.

I have a Truck Camper and a 12' enclosed trailer.

I'd need water, power and internet access(MiFi or WiFi). Don't need activities. Just a place to hook up and sl;eep. Will be working online and flying out of Phoenix nearly weekly.

Any recommendations for a 6 month stay?

Good points about the weather. Looks like I should be comforting Phoenix - Scotsdale area. Thanks.

Any suggestions in this area? I plan on spending lots of time at Ben Avery Shooting Complex.

Why would you want to drive 104 miles (1 hr. 45 mins on good day) one way weekly from Prescott to Phoenix Sky Harbor?

Quail Ridge is OK...still 80 miles one way

IF you click on the Quail Ridge LINK...it has a link to other CGs Prescott/Dewey etc. IF that is where you want to stay.
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Elevation is over 4400 feet.

Again look at the winter lows.

To get temps that you can live with in the winter months you need to get down in the valley. Phoenix elevation is around 1100 to 1700 in Apache Junction.

You will also need to get your own network access, and park WiFi is not reliable enough to work from. Either a MiFi or a cable modem from the parks local provider.

Your truck camper will not be allowed in any of the higher end resorts, which you do not want anyway. Apache Junction will offer you the largest selection of RV parks to chose from. They vary for rustic to pretty nice!!!!

If I understand your plans, I assume you are aware that Prescott will probably have snow and much colder temps as opposed to the Phoenix areas. Winter months are ideal down in the Phoenix areas. Look at the Surprise, El Mirage or south of Phoenix areas. I spend the winters as a "snow birder" in the Surprise area every year.

You might want to look at winter weather there before you decide to do that:

http://www.usclimatedata.com/climate/prescott/arizona/united-states/usaz0178

Dec average low 23 degrees
Jan average low 24 degrees
Feb average low 26 degrees

Elevation is 5400 feet.

Better come down to the valley!!!!!

Getting to either airport is much easier from the East Valley area. There should be a park in Apache Junction that will allow a truck camper.
