Just saw a TV ad shower for a rug - you can leave in your shower. It's called AQUA RUG and found at WWW.BUYAQUARUG.COM. Has anyone purchased or used this rug which is will not collect mold or bacteria, etc.? Comments, pros and cons are welcome. (so the TV Ad says)
Tkx. in advance. :@

Neat O! Looks like it will drain well. Most of those other mats won't.

The Aqua Rug material looks very similar to the mat we've used for several years when using the outside shower while boondocking. If it works as well as our mat, it's almost dry as soon as you turn the water off unless there's a puddle under it.

We use one at home and love it. See no reason to not like it in the coach. Will know about April.

A shower rug makes no sense to me...but what do I know;) I like my MH's interior to be dry.

In a public shower, we use our flip-flops, never stand there in barefeet.

If I feel the need for foot protection in the CG shower, I use diver's shoes, I also use 'em in the pool, but I do not often use them (Some showers have some very painful mats in the shower and thus I keep the shower shoes handy.

in another time and thread thy are talking about the dangers of using park showers.. One poster mentioned he does not like athletes foot, Well, Ive had that, no big deal but I've not had it since going full time and showering in park showers.. Only had it in the sticks and bricks.. Humm.. So how bad is that danger?

As for moisture.. That would not worry me so much, but I would like the O/P. hang the rug up to dry after use.

Do not have one in camper but have one in each bathroom at home. Husband and I both like them. Having one to use at the bath house is a good idea, will check Walmart next time to see if they have them. We are both "senior" citizens and like the stable feeling that we have while showering.

I would think this would be a good thing for those that use the campground showers. Easier than trying to shower in your flip-flops.

"As Seen On TV"..... check Wall Mart, CVS Pharmacy, some grocery stores that have the new sections "As Seen On TV" items and you'll probably find it there, save yourself some $$$ in shipping.

We had one similar from Bed Bath and Beyond at the house. Worked OK, but eventually threw it away. Regardless of what the advertisements say, they stay wet and hold moisture that eventually has to evaporate somewhere .... in your camper ... not a good idea, especially since so many have problems with condensation problems on windows and walls the way it is. It's better to just let the water go down the drain and the bottom of your shower or tub dry quickly. At home, I perfected the tile shower floor better.
