Weatherstripping for TT storage compartment doors

I recently replaced the weatherstripping for my 2009 Keystone Passport. The original weatherstripping was hanging loose in places. I had trouble finding a product that matched what was originally used and ended up selecting this 5/8" closed cell EPDM foam weather stripping based on the width of the existing weather stripping. As I was installing it I realized that a lot thicker than the original and was keeping the door from closing as tightly. Can I get some recommendations on an appropriate replacement that will fit these types of compartment doors correctly? Thanks!

When I replaced the weather stripping from the compartment door of our old HTT I just used something close in size from a home improvement store. It worked great but it was a little thicker. I just carefully pressed the entire door in and latched it. After a short time the new weather stripping compressed nicely.

Camping World replaced mine while under warranty - maybe give them a call.
