Hi Y'all. Just installed a Watchman Sys to monitor the temp. in my MH. I recommend this simplex device to anyone worried about their dogs overheating. Bought on Amazon for about $40. Worth 10x as much in peace of mind. No I don't work for the company.
I am no techie either. The install was very simple and straight forward. If you need additional help the company will reply to you within 24 hrs. of your request. Can monitor either by wifi that is free or text message. Text requires a $2.00 monthly or a reduced cost yearly. Very affordable.

So can you please explain a little bit in laymans's terms on how it works, what you had to do to install and if you have to subscribe to get info? How far away can you monitor the temps?
