I'm with you. If we can't get there by auto, then the dogs stay home.

I agree with both of you. I DID take along a puppy for a friend, when I flew to Houston (ages ago) - but he was just a little guy and fit in a crate under my seat. His new owner met us at the airport and all was good.

I RV so I don't have to fly!
.......and my dogs don't have to go into the dark belly of a plane. :B

Don't want to be a wet blanket but what good is it that it will alert the customer care person if the temperature changes in the cargo area or
if the crate moves? :H

Does anyone honestly think they are going to immediately land the plane to save your pet?

IMHO having lived in Chicago near O'Hara Airport all that tracker is going to do is FIND your pet when it gets loose when the porter drops the crate loading or unloading it. Which sadly happens quite often.

The area around O'Hara airport has a bunch of now feral dogs that have gotten loose. I think the airlines are offering it so they can find your pet so they don't get sued. :W
