Since Abby's passing last month, Penny hasn't been her spunky self (actually, none of us have). We decided to get another rescue. We pick her up Friday. Here is Twinkie! Any guesses as to breed (we were told golden/setter/spaniel mix)? Agnes

Life is good for Twinkie & Penny. Twinkie does need some leash training tho. Twinkie turned 1 last week. Here's a pic of them sitting pretty in the NH leaves. Agnes

It's so touching, the obvious close relationship between the girls, that makes Twinkie even luckier than many. She has human family and a dog sister. Even if she grows larger than Penny, she will always see her as alpha. Since we are not candidates to take on the responsibility of a pup again, I am very much enjoying your journey with your two and all the photos. Thank you so much for sharing!:B
