Wonder where a few of the core member's gravitated to?

Been noticing recently that the Pet Stop's been somewhat quiet. Don't see a few of (IMHO, what I consider) the core members who posted here, haven't done so in a while, e.g. Susan, Cat, etc..

Lily and this do - Fiona Grace - play together all the time. She is very sweet, but needs to have more work - jumps up a lot on us and we are working with that.

I tried the upload a photo however this forum apparently wants links back to online sites (no uploading photos that I could see) so I'll have to set something up on Photobucket (or similar) and get back to ya'll. Things have been a little hectic around here lately.

Just found this thread today. We would love to see some of the core group from years past. Sue and I have slowed down some. Traveling has become more of a chore with the age factor on my part. I would like to see more folks at the Old Fella Rally in October 2015 in Tennessee. I plan to bring pictures from the past Old Fella Rallies so folks can see pictures of those who have attended.

Barb, get your larger motorhome and make your way towards the east in time for the October Old Fella Rally and see the beautiful fall colors in the Smoky Mountains.

Hello Walter. We can't make Tucson anytime soon, but who knows where/when we can meet up again? Sold our truck and 5th when we moved to Huntington Beach Ca. Missed the rv life style so much we bought a used 32 ft mh. Spent 6 weeks traveling thru some western states in Sept and Oct.. After returning, decided that we could not spend long periods of time in 32ft mh. Looking to sell it and buy a larger one.

We still travel with cats. The funny thing about that Old Fella Rally is we were maybe the only couple with out a dog. We just love animals and have met most folks because of folks walking their dogs. Hope we can still meet up again. We still love the life style, just can't go back to full time again.

Love the photo's of your dogs.

We had always hope to see you guys again at other Old Fella Rally's, but also realized that the distance for you was very large.

In a broad sense, we are going to be in your neck of the woods in about six weeks. Tucson, to be exact, "only" about 500 miles or so from Fountain Valley.

Don't know if I would be considered an "old timer" or not. I started reading the forum a long time ago and was reading it when Richard first found Old Fella. We attended the first Old Fella Rally and met everyone there including Walter and Garland.
We've traveled all over the US and parts of Canada full time and decided to come off the road 4 years ago.
These days, sad to say, I check in with old friends and family on Face Book a little too often..
I have to come back here once in a while to find out what's going on in the world of pets and rv'ers..

Very, extremely cool, Deb! In which part of Florida is the condo? What are you going to drive back down there? Do you think you may retire there someday? It's so great that it's a dog friendly place. I hope you have room for all the friends and relatives that will want to visit!

LOL!! We figure our grandkids are getting to be the age to want to visit Disneyworld; so we're an hour from there in Rockledge. Our condo has a slice-of-a-view of the Intracoastal Waterway, and the complex has no dog restrictions, which we found very quickly is NOT the "norm". Our realtor gave us 37 listings to peruse, and probably 32 of those had size restrictions. Ben at 17 lbs was no problem; but Jimmy (a largish "miniature") weighs 35+. We hoped a few of the places that restricted dogs over 30 lbs might be swayed by Jimmy's warm and loving personality....LOL!... but we fell in love with the place we bought the moment we saw the lady walking the handsome GSD ๐Ÿ™‚

We won't retire there - our roots go too deep in Michigan. But we've decided that "Chasing Cranes" (we noticed that the Sandhill Cranes so prevalent in Michigan are all down there in the winter!) is a good thing to do...LOL!

We're almost back to Michigan - there's snow on the 5er's steps tonight in mid-Kentucky. When we go back to FL, it will be with my Caravan, filled to the roof with furniture, etc. And Jimmy and Ben, of course!
