I saw some of them having holes around that aluminum trim - or you can drill the holes, and drive a few screws in. On rigid surfaces (i.e. no rubber membrane) you can probably put it on sealant without screws, like a tile.
There are many of those on Ebay and I wonder what kind of customer they are targeting. Boat cabin with curved roof profile?
Semi-flexible basically means they do not have a frame. Normally made out of aluminum. These are not "flexible" panels but a marketing person's spin on "rigid panel without frame".
They are probably just fine (assuming not DOA) but the per panel cost won't be great once you pay shipping and build your own frame.
