A while back, maybe months, maybe last year, someone posted a link to solar panels for 80 cents per watt. I've tried searching but can't find it. I've also looked around eBay and Amazon and can't find anything even close to $1 a watt. Anyone have a link?

A cabin could be with no 12v systems like an RV has, freeing you to go to higher voltage battery bank and inverter to then make 120v for lights, fridge, etc It seems higher voltage panels are generally cheaper per watt.

Just about any solar panel sized over 225 watts should be around $1 a watt or less. I'm a residential solar contractor and I can buy some cheaper brands in quantity for under $.70 a watt. That's usually pallet quantities with incur a lot of freight charges.
If your looking at smaller 100 watt panels then you won't find many that cheap.

Don't know what size yet. This is for our new cabin not the tt. Roof is going on next week so we're starting to look at what the solar install will be. Just remembered seeing that link a while back.

12v was probably a close out. Less than $1 per watt is tough.
lots of 24v panels under $1 per watt, MPPT controller required.
