A tip for folks new to this site. Ignore posts by MexicoWanderer. It will make your life much less complicated.
Mex tries desperately to get you to scratch your head. Some think he is a God. Others (OK, just me) thinks he does not have a full bag of marbles.
Even if he does know of what he speaks, he does it in a way that makes you wonder about your own reality. I am not sure why he can't make a simple direct statement but it's just his "thing".
Others will smack me down and they have sent funds and hardware to "help" Mex. From what I can glean from these posts is that he is somewhere between homeless and helpless living in Mexico to survive with as little money as humanly possible. It does sound like he is a really great guy, but, seriously, he's just a guy living off the grid and making quizzical posts in hopes of getting folks to click on his links.
SNORE!

My '67 caddy had the 429 inch engine with a 10MT starter and a 17 plate group 27 battery.
These were the days of high compression engines and heat soaked starter motors. The fuel tank held 27 gallons.
And how many feet did a carbi-tooted 429 in a land yacht go on 27 gallons?
