Adjusting Atwood CA30 stove burners

I have a 1999 Atwood CA series 3 burner stove in my MH. The burners do not seem to be properly adjusted. There are yellow tips on the flames when turned on HI setting. Can not find any air shutters to adjust. Appears that there is a fixed orifice mounted to "floor" of the stove burner box that just shoots into the bottom of each burner.

Any way to adjust these things to get proper combustion mixture?

Thx, guys. The flame does have a fairly well defined inner light blue cone. I guess the yellow tips are considered normal according to the manual that Doug posted. I have a 2 burner portable that we use outside and it does not have the yellow tips.

Did notice the internal regulator on the gas manifold under the cooktop. Don't think it is bad as the burners seem to work OK except for the yellow tips.

If the flame burns yellow it means that there is not enough air or too much fuel. Cleaning out a jet would increase the amount of fuel making the problem worse.

I had an Atwood cooktop in my RV that started acting up. I also couldn't find any adjustments. If the cooktop is similar to what I had, there is a regulator inside the cooktop. This is in addition to the main regulator on the propane tank. It may be that the internal regulator is going bad.

I didn't care for the cooktop so I replaced it with a small residential cooktop.

Over the years food/liquids get spilled and can block gas ports in the burners

Take a toothpick and carefully clean each gas port on the burners
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Higher Flame
Flame size should not extend beyond
the edge of the cookware. This will
reduce damage to the cookware and
contribute to improved cooking
efficiency. The flame should be cone
shaped and burn with a light blue
color. A small amount of yellow
may appear at the tip of the cone
and is normal.
