Batteries will not charge on shore power.

Ok, this group has been a great help with previous issues, so I’m hoping you all can help me again.
The issue is. When I’m pluggyup to shore power, my batteries will not charge. They used too. I checked my power converter and it is putting out 13.5 v to the distribution panel. It just isn’t getting to the batteries.
I made sure to check the reset button on the left of the board and checked all the fuses. I must be missing something. Relay? Hidden fuse?
1999 seabreeze it has the Custom RV products 12v distribution board.
I’m sure I’m overlooking something silly.
Thanks in advance.

What voltage are your batteries showing? Could be the circuit breaker, but the disconnect should be obvious if applicable. Even with the charger working, if only putting out 13.5, it will take a while to charge batteries discharged to 12 volts, or less.

There is, or should be, a resettable circuit breaker in the positive cable connected to the battery's positive terminal. Have you checked it?

As Vee said, use the volt meter at the battery. Depending on how it's wired the problem could as simple as a bad connection at the battery. Battery connections corrode. Is it a wet cell battery? Have you checked the electrolyte level? Is it covering the plates?

From my understanding a converter provides power to the DC system & it is a charger to the battery bank.

Put the volt meter across the battery bank. If you are not getting 14V there you likely have a charger problem. If you are getting a better than 12V reading on the battery bank but no charging then chances are the battery bank is shot.
