Best way to clean ceiling

Had a leak from ac unit, now ceiling has a few stains,what is the best way to remove stains? Have tried tuff stuff and goop, didn't seem to help. Thanks for your help,Dave

Ended up using a Bissell spot cleaning machine,which we wanted to buy anyway, worked pretty well. Thanks to everyone for your help,Dave

Olyclean has a spray that has worked well in mine.
Spray, let set and blot.
Repeat as needed.

Depending on how big a stain ...white out works really good.

Oxyclean- 1 full tablespoon into a spray bottle and fill with water.

Use 50-50 Hydrogene Boraxide and Water, works really great. Purchase at most Pharmacy.

if you can deal with the over spray issue, I would hit it with Kilz primer and then the ceiling white, ore maybe consider using a roller for application. It worked in my stick home.
