Can't light water heater

Any body know how to find the control for LP valve to turn on Water heater?
Gas only Atwood, 2000 Infinity.

Glad it was as simple as finding the On/Off Switch.

RVs are like scavenger hunts but w/o the list.

Thanks much to DrewE and Bisquit; the switch was well hidden by the back of the couch, and also a drape. Bingo! Now works like a champ.
I find it amazing that the service manager at the outfit that inspected it completely and did some pre-sale prep work couldn't, wouldn't, or feigned ignorance over the phone.
"Bring it by and We'll take a look at it."

Saved by the internet and a bunch of nice folks.

Sorry to show off my ignorance of the finer points of ignition systems.
It really resembles what lights off jet engines; which I happen to know a little more about than RVs.

Your Atwood G6A-8E has a DSI (Direct Spark Ignition)-----electronic spark electrode not a piezo sparker.

Atwood provides an OEM On/Off Switch with Fault Light for RV Mfg. installation.
Looks just like the one shown in video link (come in black or white panel)


With water heater full of water (check backside of WH for correct valving------cold inlet OPEN/Bypass Closed/Hot outlet OPEN (hot out might just be a check valve)

Then turn switch ON.........
It will make 3 attempts to light main flame (each attempt takes 6-8 seconds). IF no main flame 'proven' it will 'lock out' and turn Fault Light ON
Turn switch Off....wait 30 seconds.....turn back ON to reset Fault/Lock out and attempt firing WH again.
May take a few attempts.....due to lack of propane flow

At least for the 2000 Four Winds Infinity shown in this video, the water heater switch is on the side of the cabinet for the kitchen sink next to the couch.

This is the first time ever; We just recently acquired the MH.
It has a piezo spark set up. Model G6A-8E.
There is supposed to be a rocker switch on one of the panels.
Fridge and furnace work fine.
I may just have to do a kludge wiring job.
Previous owner not available to ask.
The printed circuit board control was replaced by a major chain RV shop. I have some questions about the quality of workmanship.

I'll go over all the spade connectors, as invisible corrosion is fairly common here with salt on the roads.

Ours had an electronic start powered by our batteries. All we do is flip our switch on inside. Maybe you don't have to light it.

Is this first time in a while that you have used the propane system?

If YES..it can take a while and several tires to get propane flowing to each appliance......farther away from propane supply (tank/cylinder) the longer if can take

Is that Atwood water heater a Pilot Flame Manual Light type OR a Electronic Spark Control type? (Model Number)
