Hello
My electric step goes in every time I close the door and then goes out when I open the door. It does this on both switch settings. Thank you for any advice. Kenny

what kind of rv do you have motorhome?? or travel trailer?? if its a motorhome make sure the ignition is not on..

It sounds like the switch is stuck on.
Currently RV-less but not done yet.
