Extened run tank

I just bought a BERGS Dual Feed Extended Run Tank from Wise. A lot of times I only run 1 generator at a time. Do I need to unhook the fuel line from the one not running or can I leave it hooked up?

The fuel pump in the generator sucks fuel from the aux tank. If you disconnect one the fuel pump for the one running will suck air through the disconnected fuel line instead of fuel from the aux tank.

One is fine.... I do it all the time with my home built tank.

You should be able to leave both hooked up, as long as you are not moving them such a distance that the fuel line is streached..

If you do notice a problem, such as the fuel tank dripping wet with gas, I reserve the right to say it is not safe.
