After replacing 2 of them. now the third is acting strange. It's operated by thermostat and when I move the lever, the hatch starts to open and the fan starts to turn, but then the fan shuts off after a few seconds, but the hatch continues to open.
Any ideas as to what is going on here?
Thanks,
Fred

Historically, Fantastic has been one of the best for customer service. A call to them should solve your problem at little or no cost.

There is a spring-loaded "plunger switch" on top and when the lid raises that switch is what starts the fan motor. Mine was acting weird a year or so ago - sometimes the fan would come on with the lid up, sometimes not, or it would start later. The problem was the wire connected to the plunger switch was loose. Tightened it and all better. Sounds like a possibility.
