HOW might it damage everything??????? It will not. When they ship the refers from overseas(Dometic) and when they ship and store NEW cooling units (Norcold and Dometic) they will be upside down at times. There is NOTHING that will be damaged from unlevel or even upside down as long as the refer is NEVER ON. Just make sure to let it sit 24 hours in level condition before starting it up again. Doug
