IMO, I find it hard to believe that anyone would choose a Generac or any other over Hon or Yammy to save a lousy 150 bucks. If you ever go to sell, that will be chicken feed.

Not everyone buys something with intent of selling.

The difference is only 111.00. THe Hondas sell quickly for good money used... The Generacs will not.

I for one would take a AMERICAN produced product over a imported anything.
But that is just me :B

A very good example not to take anything you read here as being absolutely true. Always do as much research as you possibly can.

When comparing inverter generators, one thing to look at is that not all of them are parallel capable.. That means pairing two of them for twice the power. That will run anything you want in a 30 amp TT. It is something that may not seem important today,,, as just getting some power will seem like a luxury... But down the road you may want more.
The Champions you are looking at can be twined. The Generacs,,, I don't think so. All of the Hondas can be. Some of the Yamahas can be.
The Generacs can be paired
A little power is nice. More power is nicer.

Huntindog, you haven't seen me in "judgemental mode" yet. This is when I start telling what I think, not just what I observe.
Like, people trying to run microwave off 1000W inverter or generator because it says "700W" on the microwave. Or - estimating the battery charge by looking at those OEM indicators in trailer. And many, many other things. Have stopped wondering long time ago ๐

From my observations, often it's not that people need "more power", but "all the more power at the same time". Ex, somebody runs his microwave and coffee maker on 3000W generator, all is good, then DW plugs vacuum or hair drier in and blows the fuse. Get 4000W, and you can still blow the fuse if you don't know what you're doing. It's a matter of organization.
