Generator selection

Well, as we get a little more serious about camping, I'm thinking a small generator is in order. I'm looking at either Yamaha or Generac 2000 watt. I need to look at what the AC unit on my TT requires as I'm guessing a 2000watt won't the AC.

Pros and Cons to the little Generac and Yamahas?

Look at Champion inverter generator series. They have a 3100 watt product that is electric start and big enough to run the roof air. The only down side is that it is heavier than the 2000 watt units from Honda and Yamaha.

My ride is a 28 foot Class C, 256 watts solar, 556 amp-hours of Telcom jars, 3000 watt Magnum hybrid inverter, Sola Basic Autoformer, Microair Easy Start.

Go Yamaha. The quality is superior. You will have the generator long after the money you save buying cheap.
