...not sure why I continue to hang around here. What a bunch of downers as several others have mentioned lately.
Because when someone posts about a generator not appropriate for 95% of RVers to use on an RV forum because it's too loud/obnoxious you will get honest comments. What you don't understand is there are still some clueless folks that would buy something like this thinking it could be acceptable for normal RV use so the largely negative comments are IMO right on target for the audience reading this thread.
If you want only positive or mostly so comments then post on something like a contractors forum where noise is not an issue.

X2 and if you buy it please don't camp near me.
So, just buying makes one an undesirable? Whether he runs it or not? You folks are really something. I doubt that the OP wants to camp with people like that anyway.
I have hauled all kinds of generators for thousands of miles and never had one complaint. As Kenny Rogers would say, "You gotta know when to run them, gotta know when to stow them".
If you own the Walmart that I am parked at, simply tell me to shut mine off. I will move on.

I doubt they will like you at quiet Walmart with open frame generator running overnight.
You might fit right at Rest Stop on truck pad, although newer diesels are quieter as well.
California made a law forbidding long idling and guess what kind of generators are truckers mounting on their rigs?
But noise aside, "Runs 10 hours at 50% load from a 4-gal. fuel tank"
That means you need to fill it up 3 x a day and have lot of cans if you plan to camp for few days.
On my Honda EU3000 the 3 gallon tank last 24 hr on average day, or 13 hr running 15k AC constantly.
Food for toughs.
