OK, so it was in my house, but it just might be applicable to RVs.
One of our cooktop burners (gas) had a very low flame, and extensive visual examination showed me nothing. Eventually I called a service company which charges $90 for a service call. With Thanksgiving about to happen, I wasn't about to let this go.
The tech knew just what he was doing. He used a longish 5-6" small diameter sharp probe and removed a small object obstructing the central orifice in the burner base. Problem solved. I couldn't see the thing, but he had the experience. I don't fault him whatever on the cost, but now I know how to deal with it.
If it should happen in the Mother Ship, I will know what to do.
