Another one of the MANY advantages of having one foot on each side of the border.......

I get TWO Thanksgivings each year!

I used to do it this way until I purchased one of these: Masterbuilt Turkey Fryer

Camped out in the boonies and just finished our turkey feast. Cooked a 13.5 pound bird in my convection/microwave oven.

A couple of years ago, we cooked an 18 lb turkey in our RV oven. Our guests couldn't figure out how we did it until they spotted the toothpicks holding the two halves together on the platter. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Nice photo!

Now for the difficult part ... produce that T-Giving bird and all the fixings using one's RV kitchen and propane oven ... for enjoying on an outside picnic table while drycamping during November in someplace warm like CA or Arizona or MeHeeCo.

We did that (but with just turkey legs) last year in Central CA when drycamping with friends - what a great way to spend Thanksgiving!!
