Heat Affecting Motor Home

We are planning to visit Sun City, AZ the beginning of August and we were wonder if the intense temperature is going to affect the motor home roof or seals? I drove truck through Mojave in the summer, so realize engine temp and tire temp are items to monitor all the time.

My buddy was invited to have his band play in Baker CA for Forth of July many years ago! It was hot, but inside the hall it was nice and cool. They got out to the RV and the roof material had fallen from the ceiling, it was REALLY hot inside!

AS long as you keep the A/C on in the RV, you will not have any problems. That was a 1960's or early 70's motorhome, with vinyl roof liner.

If you will be visiting friends, you might also want to consider renting a RV site that has a plug in, to keep the RV cool. If they have a 30 or 50 amp plug at their home, it will work fine.

Money can't buy happiness but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a

Porsche or Country Coach!

If there's a WILL, I want to be in it!

I havn't been everywhere, but it's on my list.

Roof and seals? I doubt it. But watch out for the outer layer of your body!! Lived in the Mojave desert my whole life...can tell you many stores about how hot it gets there. That's why we spend our summers now up on the Oregon Coast.
