It is a toggle switch. Three yellow wires. Can't seem to find anything it turns on or off

The picture doesn't clearly show the item. All I see is a chrome plate, two screws, and something black.

Picture isn't really definitive. Can you tell us if it is a switch, connector or light? If connector, how many pins? If switch, push button or toggle?
