Inverter question

If I want to plug my shore power cable into my inverter I need to switch of the converter correct? Where might I find it in my 2000 Airstream Land Yacht?

Motor home or Trailer? What Brand and Model Inverter? What size Inverter? Is it a Inverter/Charger or just an Inverter? WHAT Battery bank are you using to power the Inverter? What are you attempting to power with the Inverter? Doug

I would go a step further and turn off all the breakers and then only turn on the breaker for the item you are using. Otherwise, you may be powering items you don't care about burning thru battery power for no benefit.
