LED night lite

I have LED lights that have built in night lites they are a pain because they are just above the bed built into the reading lite anybody removed the night lite part and if so how.

UPDATE: I was able to get the snap ring off and the lite is sealed, so I took some foil tape and covered the night lites, we will see if it works if not I will buy new ones because these are just parasitic loads.

I have yet to see an LED survive a good pair of wire cutters if you don't want to physically remove it with an iron

If you can access the led bulb in question, a black sharpie works too. You can "customize" the amount of light you want from it.

I was unable to figure out how to remove it, but a small piece of electric tape over the light has worked.
