I have a 2012 E450 ford rv. Have heard that sometimes using LED turn lights can affect the ABS brake system. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem on 2012 E450 ford or it is not a problem. I have check relay and seems to be a heavy duty one which LED lights do not affect.
Standard flasher use a bi-metal contact to open and close the circuit. n electronic flasher will operate with less resistance to make and break circuit. Light outage indicators looks for resistance to identify lamp failures.
Some LED lights do not enough resistance to operate the flasher. An electronic flasher normally takes care of this. Some do not have enough resistance to over ride the lamp outage indication. You would need to add resistors to correct problem if you have it.
