Not Almot's Toasted Cheese Sandwich

I have sinned again! ๐Ÿ˜ž I made a toasted cheese sandwich in the most awful way using my "oversized inverter" and wasted tons of energy. I even measured how bad it was as a lesson to others who might be so tempted----be strong out there--stronger than I ! ๐Ÿ˜ž

Before starting:( mid-day, sun out, blue sky, solar on)

14.4v, 7.1a charging, -1.24 AH on the clock.

Started toaster from 2000w MSW inverter:
13.1v down to 12.4v, -40.9a,---- toaster pops:
13.1v, 18.3a charging, -3.12AH on the clock.(back to -2.59 before MW)

Butter toast, insert cheese, stick in MW for 30 seconds:
12.5v, -88.0a, -2.99 AH after 30secs.

Cost to Planet Earth: 2.99-1.24 = 1.75 AH. (the shame is hard to bear)

Ate sandwich anyway. Looked at Trimetric while wiping crumbs off face ( I am a tidy sort of sinner)
14.3v, 5.7a charging, -0.23AH. on the clock.

Hey that's more than before I made the sandwich. Almot will strike me down anyway...I was so bad. Sob! ๐Ÿ™‚

Just before posting this soon after:
13.7v (controller float) , 3.6a charging, 0.51 AH (it is going "over" today, so will reset AH later on)

No, the MW did not make the toast soft. It stays crispy. I don't understand the issue. How do you girls make toasted cheese sangies anyway? (I am not talking about the things done the oven with bacon included)

40a and 88a @12v? Seems like pretty low power appliances.. compared to mine.

Solar was doing 18a as noted (you missed that it seems.) Trimetric shows net amps. MSW with MW draws fewer amps than would a PSW, so MW draw was 106a (would have been approx 155a on PSW using divide by 10.) The (10 yr old) Sharp MW works fine on MSW for four years now so that worked out ok in our case.

Don could use it for his diversion load while tuning pianos in the summer.

Kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Fix a cheap lunch and use some of the excess solar in the summer. :C

Just got my electric bill: $6.15 (87 kWh)
twenty one cents per day

But it isn't the product of clean energy. Fossil fuel. Steam turbines.
